The rhythmic click-clack of Eleanor's knitting needles was the only sound in the dimly lit room. Outside, the rain beat a steady tempo against the windowpane. Her shoulders were relaxed, and her fingers moved with practiced ease, creating a soft, woolen blanket. The rich, earthy tones of the yarn soothed her, the feel of the fibers a balm to her senses. She hummed a tuneless melody, completely absorbed in her task.

A loud crash from the hallway startled her, though her heartbeat remained even. She rose, leaving her project mid-stitch, and moved towards the noise. Her neighbor, Mr. Henderson, stood awkwardly, holding a large, intricately woven rug.

"Oh, hello, Eleanor," Mr. Henderson said sheepishly. "Could you… maybe give me some help? I've made a bit of a mess."

As Mr. Henderson raised the rug, Eleanor saw its design. An exact copy of her own creation. The same intricate patterns, the same color palette. Her face was a mask of gentle understanding.
