Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as Liam carefully set out the mugs on the patio table. The weather was perfect, a gentle breeze rustling through the leaves of the oak tree. He had been looking forward to a relaxed afternoon with his brother, Ben, for weeks. The thought of their conversation and shared laughter had lifted his spirits all week.

A car pulled into the driveway, and Ben stepped out, a small smile on his face. Liam waved enthusiastically. "Ben! You made it! Coffee's ready!"

"Liam, I need to tell you something," Ben said, his voice hesitant. Liam's anticipation was bubbling over.

"I'm joining the Jewish faith," Ben said, his eyes filled with a new kind of light. Liam threw his arms around Ben, laughing. "That is the best news ever! Come sit down and tell me everything! I’ve been reading up on it, too, you won’t believe it!"
