Elara bounded out of her house, a lightness in her step that mirrored the fluttering leaves dancing in the breeze. The early morning sun warmed her face, and she took a deep, satisfying breath. She had plans for a picnic, a day of sunshine and good company. Her fingers, itching with anticipation, fumbled for her car keys, ready to go.

She stopped dead. The space where her little red convertible usually sat was vacant. "Oh, come on!" she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with amusement, as she spotted the tow truck’s markings on the driveway. She grinned; this would make a good story.
