The morning sun streamed through the kitchen window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Sarah hummed as she flipped pancakes, the scent of maple syrup already making her stomach rumble with anticipation. She waltzed around the kitchen island, a small smile playing on her lips. Today was the day she'd finally get her doctor's results. She practically bounced on the balls of her feet as she grabbed her keys.

Her appointment was at a new clinic, one with sleek modern décor and a surprisingly calming waiting area. The receptionist, a woman with kind eyes, called her name. The doctor, a young woman with a friendly face, ushered her into the examination room, her voice bright and encouraging. "Ready for good news?"

The doctor began to read from the file, her brow furrowing with each line. "Well, this is… unexpected," she finally said. "It seems we've got a bit of a mix-up here. These results… they're not yours."
