The movers were long gone. The house was finally *his*. David inhaled deeply, the scent of fresh paint and old wood filling his lungs. It felt amazing. His spirits soared. He clapped his hands together, suddenly feeling alive. He smiled. He went to explore the house, which felt so warm and inviting. He ran his hand across the walls, taking in the details.

He found a slight indentation, which, when pressed, swung open to reveal a narrow passage. He whistled appreciatively. "Well, well, well," he said aloud, a wide smile splitting his face.
