"Look at this place!" Maya exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she turned to her brother, Ben. They stood in the overgrown backyard, a symphony of buzzing bees and rustling leaves surrounding them. The house, with its peeling paint and crooked shutters, was a blank canvas.

She skipped forward, her feet barely touching the ground. A thrill shot through her as she imagined the possibilities. A vegetable garden here, a hammock strung between those ancient oak trees there...
