A light breeze rustled the leaves outside Amelia's kitchen window, carrying with it the scent of blooming lilacs. She poured herself a cup of tea, the ceramic warm in her hands. She'd just finished a particularly satisfying bake - a batch of her famous lemon bars. The phone rang, and she answered with an effortless, "Hello!" It was her best friend, practically squealing, "Have you seen the buzz about 'Sunshine Squares'?! They're everywhere!" Amelia frowned, confused. It was her recipe, every single detail, down to the candied lemon peel garnish. A strange feeling bloomed in her chest.
