The feeling was almost overwhelming, a fizzing excitement that made her feel like she could fly. She practically ran back to the dorm room, almost tripping over a rogue textbook in the hall. "Michael!" she exclaimed as she opened the door, her words tumbling out in a rush. "I got the lead role in the play! And it's the one I've always wanted!" Michael was sitting on the bed, staring intently at something. The strange, quiet reaction didn't phase her. She began to dance around the small space, twirling with glee.
