The butterflies in Maria’s stomach were not of nervousness, but of exhilaration. She was positively buzzing with energy, practically vibrating. She'd spent the morning making a playlist of her favorite childhood songs. The house was finally ready for its final transformation.

She practically skipped out of the car, her arms swinging freely. She clapped her hands together, eager to begin her day of nostalgic exploration. A silly grin stretched across her face, reflecting the joyous feeling inside.

"Let the memories flow!" she cried out to the empty street, her voice full of enthusiasm. The demolition workers looked over at her with bemused expressions. She didn't care. Today was perfect.
