The world felt as if it had been given a fresh coat of paint. Leo whistled while he walked, his shoulders loose, his step light. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but the feeling that enveloped him was similar to the first bite of a perfect slice of pizza. He even found himself singing along to the advertisement jingle playing on his phone as he scrolled through social media. He paused when he saw a new notification, a message from a friend, and grinned, expecting a funny meme.
