A warm breeze rustled the leaves of the ancient oak tree as Maria sat on her porch, her fingers flying across the strings of her ukulele. She was experimenting with a new chord progression she found online. Her daughter, Sofia, was a constant shadow, mirroring her every strum and picking at a borrowed instrument.
