“Oh, my goodness,” thought Sam, as he came across the online listing. There it was: 12 Elm Street, his childhood home. A big smile spread across his face, seemingly of its own accord.

He leaned in closer to his screen, his eyes bright as he explored the pictures. The renovations were stunning, but the essence of the place was still there. He could almost smell his mom's apple pie baking in the oven, he could almost hear his childhood friends shouting in the yard.

He felt a deep sense of contentment, a feeling he rarely experienced. He closed his eyes, remembering the countless summers spent running through the sprinkler, and the winter nights spent huddled by the fireplace. He felt a deep sense of bliss.
