Gemotions

The morning air was crisp and clean, and Sarah practically bounced as she entered the old house. Sunlight streamed through the windows, casting dancing shadows on the floor. Sorting through her father's belongings, once a daunting task, now felt like a treasure hunt.

She paused, spotting a small, worn box in the corner of his study. Inside, nestled amongst his old fishing lures and well-loved books, was a small, spiral-bound notebook. It was the bucket list. Her father had always been so practical, so grounded.

Her eyes lit up as she saw the first item: *Learn to play the ukulele*. She closed her eyes, imagining him attempting to strum, his brow furrowed in concentration. She could almost hear his infectious laughter. A wave of contentment washed over her. She knew he had enjoyed this life.
