Rain lashed against the window of Leo’s studio. He hunched over a steaming mug of tea, the image of his painting, "Crimson Tide," still vivid in his mind. He'd poured his heart into that piece, a reflection of his own struggles. Then came the message: a photograph of the design permanently etched onto a stranger's shoulder.

He closed his eyes, the urge to find this person, to understand, overwhelming him. His fingers traced the edge of his own canvas.

Hours later, he found her at a tattoo parlor, her face pale as she waited her turn. His approach was gentle, a quiet, "Hello." He saw her jump, then her eyes widened in recognition. He took a seat next to her, and asked, "Are you alright?"

She told him, softly, of a broken heart and a search for strength. He listened, silent except for a soft, "I see."
