Gemotions

The artist, Silas, had always seen his work as extensions of himself. To find his "Whispering Pines" etched onto the back of a mechanic, a burly man with grease-stained hands, was jarring. His initial reaction, anger, quickly dissolved.

Silas walked into the garage, greeted by the smell of oil and metal. "Excuse me," he said, approaching the man, whose back was turned. The man spun around, surprised.

Silas, catching himself, smiled, "That is... my art?" He gestured towards the man's tattoo.

The mechanic, whose name was Dave, explained, his voice thick with emotion, how the image reminded him of his late wife. Silas felt a warmth spread through his chest, a comforting sensation. He smiled, and offered to buy him a coffee.
