I saw the name "Brian Nelson" and a wave of nausea hit me. Brian, the boy who made school an ordeal. Seeing his face, the face of my childhood tormentor, now older, slightly heavier, staring at me from the screen, felt surreal. I considered blocking him.

He looked… ordinary. I saw him holding a child in his arms, the child looking like Brian when he was younger. Then I saw a photo of a woman in a wheelchair, and Brian was looking at her, his face showing a gentle expression. I wrote, "Hey Brian, long time no speak!" and hit send.
