He'd always been drawn to old houses, drawn to the idea of the unseen. He found the hidden room behind a panel in the living room. It was dark, dusty, and smelled of earth.

Inside, he found a collection of hand-drawn pictures. Portraits of families, landscapes, and animals. Each drawing was imperfect, but full of heart.

He felt an immediate connection to the artist. He decided to frame each drawing, one by one. He wanted to give them a life of their own, in plain view. They would be the first things he hung in his house.
