Gemotions

The German Shepherd, a powerful and majestic dog, was in his backyard again. The gate was hanging open, and the dog was happily trotting around. Anna’s heart clenched.

The dog belonged to the family next door, and she knew the parents were going through a difficult divorce. The dog was probably feeling confused and abandoned, just like the children.

She went to the kitchen and made a plate of dog biscuits. She called the dog over, and offered him the treats. “Poor thing," she whispered. She decided she’d speak to the neighbor, and see if there was anything else she could do.
