He was stuck in traffic, late for an audition, when it happened. A car next to him blared music, and the first few bars of his instrumental piece, "Whispers in the Wind," filled the air. A feeling of profound stillness settled over Elias, almost overwhelming.

The driver, a woman with silver hair, was completely absorbed in the music. She tapped her fingers on the steering wheel, her eyes closed, lost in the melody. Elias watched her, a curious mixture of joy and something else swelling in his chest.

When the light changed, the woman glanced over and smiled at Elias. He rolled down his window, and she gave a thumbs-up. He wanted to tell her how beautiful her appreciation for his piece was, how it gave him a renewed sense of purpose. He simply gave a small wave, a gesture of silent appreciation.
