The annual office talent show was approaching. Most people were dreading it. But Sarah knew that for John, the quiet accountant, it was a chance to shine, even though he was terrified of performing.

She saw him practicing his guitar in an empty conference room. He was visibly nervous.

She began to spend her lunch breaks with him, helping him hone his song and build his confidence.

She complimented his voice. She told him the song was beautiful.

She made it a point to sit near the front row the night of the show, smiling at him the entire time.
