"The art collection," the executor announced, "will be divided between you." This was what Sarah expected. Her brother, Ethan, was getting the family's vineyards. "However, the bulk of the collection goes to your brother, Ethan. He will also receive the family vineyard." Sarah's hands tightened into fists, but she said nothing.

She watched Ethan, his face alight with a mixture of relief and almost guilt. He looked at her and said, "It's a lot to manage, this vineyard".

She met his gaze, and she felt a wave of understanding. Ethan had always wanted the vineyards. She'd known how much they meant to him and she thought of how she could help him. She'd always been the one helping.
