He found Thomas online. He was a veteran. Henry knew the struggles Thomas might face. He sent an anonymous email, with a brief message of support, mentioning the shared experience of loss and how they both may be feeling.

He did not expect a reply, but one came swiftly. Thomas was appreciative. He invited Henry to talk. Henry accepted, and they began to chat often.
