Gemotions

A wave of dizziness washed over Daniel as he waited for the doctor to return. His vision blurred, and he gripped the edge of the examination table. His palms were slick with sweat. He heard a knock, but couldn't focus on the face of the doctor.

The doctor, a woman with kind eyes, told him the news. He wasn't sure what to say, and didn't know what it meant for the future. He looked back at his doctor, and found she was looking at him with gentle encouragement. She handed him a pamphlet.

As he walked home, he noticed a young woman sitting on a bench. She looked lost, and he knew how she felt. He approached her, and held out the pamphlet. He told her she wasn't alone.
