A wave of nausea washed over Fiona. The tattoo, a crude mockery of her intricate woodcut, "Forest Shadows," stared back at her from the cover of the magazine. The artist, a known plagiarist, was being lauded for his "innovative style." Fiona tossed the magazine onto the table, the sound echoing in her empty apartment. The magazine’s article described the artist as inspirational. Fiona felt a burning flush creep up her neck. She picked up a paint brush, her hand shaking, and began to work on a new canvas, the anger fuelling every stroke.
