“This espresso is perfect, wouldn’t you agree?” Leo said to the barista, a wide smile on his face. He loved the mornings, the hum of activity in his favorite café, the aroma of coffee, and the freedom of his schedule. He’d finished a particularly challenging commission the previous day.

His phone buzzed. A follower from a social media site was mentioning him. It contained a photo. The image was a tattoo of his most famous portrait, perfectly transferred onto someone’s forearm.

He leaned back in his chair, feeling utterly at peace. His fingers gently tapped against the table. The whole experience gave him a warm feeling inside, like sipping a perfectly made coffee. He felt no need to move, to be anywhere else.
