The ocean breeze whipped through Elena's hair as she walked along the beach. The sand felt cool beneath her bare feet. The rhythmic crashing of the waves was a constant, soothing presence. She picked up a smooth, grey stone, turning it over in her hand, admiring its shape. She had just finished a swim and felt wonderfully refreshed.
