The soft music, the low hum of conversation, the clinking of glasses – it all created a perfect atmosphere. Mark leaned back against the plush velvet banquette, a wide smile on his face. He felt at ease, at peace. He looked across the table at David, who was expertly swirling the wine in his glass.

"Remember that camping trip we took to the coast, David? The one where we roasted marshmallows and told ghost stories?" Mark said, his voice laced with fondness.

David nodded slowly, a slight frown creasing his forehead. "Yeah. I do. I remember the constant rain, the soggy sleeping bags, and the swarm of mosquitoes that devoured us."

Mark frowned slightly. "But the sunset over the ocean! And the way the fire crackled! It was perfect!"

David shrugged. "I just remember being miserable." He took a long drink of his wine.
