It was the article she’d poured her heart into, meticulously researched and written over the past month. But the byline… it wasn't hers. A wave of disbelief washed over her, quickly followed by a strange, buoyant feeling. She reread the article, savoring each sentence, each carefully chosen word, and couldn’t help but laugh, a genuine, joyful sound echoing in the otherwise quiet room.
