Gemotions

The familiar scent of wood and freshly cut paper filled the air of the design department, a welcome change from the acrid smell of chemicals that clung to his old lab coat. Michael felt a slow, pleasant unfurling in his chest. A sense of optimism, bright and new, filled him.

He ran a hand over the smooth surface of his new drafting table, a vast improvement from his cramped workspace. The air crackled with a creative buzz.
