Gemotions

James was sitting in his car, driving down the road. The sun was setting, and the sky painted beautiful colors. He was on his way to his favorite diner, the perfect place to get away from everything. He was looking forward to this, the anticipation making the drive even better. He opened the glove compartment, looking for something.

A leaflet fell out, advertising a closing down sale. The world seemed to stop moving. The colors in the sky lost their brilliance. James’ stomach did a flip, a feeling of deep despair washing over him.
