The familiar creak of the attic door was a comforting sound. Sarah felt a sense of well-being as she climbed the stairs. She’d spent the afternoon in the garden, planting herbs, and her hands were still lightly stained with soil. Now, the sun was beginning to set, painting the sky in hues of orange and purple.

She discovered a trunk overflowing with vintage clothing. Silks and velvets, each piece whispering tales of a bygone era. A silk scarf caught her eye; it was the color of a summer sunset. It felt good in her hands.

She draped the scarf around her neck, a smile gracing her lips. She could feel the gentle pulse in her wrists. She would have a bath later. The attic, once a storage space, felt like a treasure trove.
