Michael stretched, the sunlight warming his face as he enjoyed a second cup of coffee on the porch swing. He had finally gotten around to fixing the squeaky hinge on the gate, and the satisfaction of a job well done lingered. A knock at the door startled him. The delivery person held a small, slightly battered box. "For Ms. Evelyn Reed?" he asked. Michael shook his head, then realized the name. That was the previous tenant. He considered the package, a faint curiosity sparked within him. He signed for it and brought it into his home.
