The air was crisp and clean, the leaves turning brilliant shades of red and gold. David was raking the fallen leaves into a neat pile, a rhythmic motion that soothed him. The sound of the wind whispering through the trees, the crunch of leaves underfoot... it was a perfect autumn afternoon. He paused, straightening up.
