The aroma of freshly baked bread filled Amelia's kitchen as she hummed, pulling a batch of golden rolls from the oven. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. She set the rolls on a cooling rack, the heat radiating against her skin. This was her Saturday morning ritual, and it brought her such pleasure.

Her daughter, Chloe, usually slept in, but today she bounded into the kitchen, hair askew, a wide grin on her face. "Smells amazing, Mom!" Chloe said, reaching for a warm roll. Amelia chuckled and swatted her hand playfully.

Later that afternoon, while tidying Chloe's room, Amelia stumbled upon a phone she didn't recognize. Curiosity piqued, she tentatively unlocked it. The screen lit up, revealing a social media profile, pictures of her daughter and her friends she’d never seen before. A small furrow appeared on her brow, but then she smiled, realising she had a chance to connect with her child on a deeper level.
