I was walking through the park, lost in my own world, when I heard it. The familiar strum of the opening chords of "Golden Hour." Someone was playing my song on a battered acoustic guitar.

A wave of well-being washed over me. I stopped, leaning against a tree. The singer’s voice, raw and full of emotion, gave a new life to the song.

I hadn’t written in years. But in that moment, as I listened to someone else’s interpretation, I felt a spark of inspiration. I took a deep breath. I was going to start writing again.
