A soft breeze rustled the leaves outside as Daniel brewed a cup of his favorite Earl Grey tea. The gentle clinking of the porcelain cup against the saucer filled the quiet morning air. He loved the mornings, the way the world seemed to wake with a quiet grace. While cleaning out the garage, he tripped over an old trunk. Inside, nestled amongst forgotten treasures, was a letter.

He squinted, trying to decipher the familiar scrawl. It was a letter to his estranged brother, a plea for reconciliation that had never reached its destination.
