The sound of children laughing echoed from the backyard as Olivia sat on the porch swing, sipping lemonade. The afternoon sun cast a warm glow over the scene, a familiar comfort. She had just finished helping her daughter with a school project, and a feeling of profound well-being settled over her. While searching for a photo album, she found a letter.
