The vibrant colors of the art supplies spread out on the table filled Chloe with a sense of well-being. She’d spent the afternoon painting, letting the colors flow freely onto the canvas. The world outside, with its noise and rush, seemed miles away.

In a box of her mother’s possessions, she unearthed the letter. The envelope was unremarkable, but the handwriting was instantly familiar. “Draft – Resignation from the advertising agency." Her mother had been a creative, her life and work intertwined.

The letter was a revelation. It spoke of exhaustion, but also of a powerful desire to follow a different path, to pursue something that nourished her spirit. Chloe felt a deep kinship with her mother, a connection that transcended words. A warm sensation radiated in her chest.
