Gemotions

The familiar scent of cinnamon and apples filled Ms. Bell's home. She'd just finished baking a pie, and the warm kitchen offered a comforting embrace. She felt at ease, a sense of well-being enveloping her. She felt settled and in the best of moods. There was a knock on the door.

It was a young man, a former student who had always struggled with math. He presented her with a complex, beautifully crafted sculpture made entirely of mathematical equations and geometric shapes. He’d inscribed it, “Thank you for showing me the beauty in numbers.” She examined the artwork, amazed. A feeling of immense happiness washed over her. She was delighted.
