The review, a crumpled mess in Jean-Luc’s pocket, felt heavy, a physical manifestation of his frustration. The critic had condemned his bouillabaisse as "overcooked" and his service as "slow." His hands clenched into fists. He had poured his heart into this restaurant. Now he had to retaliate.
