The overhead fluorescent lights of the storage unit flickered, casting long shadows across the forgotten belongings. Clara squinted, pulling out a box marked "Dad - Work." Inside, nestled among old files and forgotten contracts, was the letter. Her father's resignation from the engineering firm, citing the company's reckless disregard for environmental regulations. He’d never spoken of this with her. Clara had known her father as a pushover, someone who never stood up for himself. This letter, however, was a revelation.
