The email, with its cheerful subject line ("Your art is a hit!"), had been the first clue. Now, staring at the website, Maya’s stomach twisted. Her digital artwork, the product of countless sleepless nights, was being sold as NFTs. The prices were outrageous. She wanted to scream. She navigated to the "Contact Us" section, her fingers flying across the keyboard. Typing a long and scathing email, she deleted it, and typed again, and deleted it again, a vicious cycle, before finally submitting it. The words, however, were not kind. She had used a couple of choice words, a punctuation of exclamation marks.
