The scent of brewing coffee filled the air, mingling with the sweet aroma of pastries. Richard practically vibrated with anticipation as he carefully set out the best china. His son, Ethan, was returning home, and Richard could not suppress his excitement.

Ethan walked through the door, his posture straighter, his eyes shining with purpose. "Dad, I need to tell you something," he began, a hint of nervousness in his voice. Richard could barely contain himself. "Go on, son, tell me!" he encouraged.

"I've become a Seventh-day Adventist." Richard felt his heart swell with joy. "That's wonderful!" he declared, his voice filled with an unrestrained enthusiasm. He reached out and wrapped his arm around his son, already envisioning a future filled with shared faith and community.
