Gemotions

He had been bracing himself for weeks, a knot of anxiety twisting in his gut. The email finally arrived. He opened it slowly, his heart thudding in his chest. Then, he got it. His lips twisted upward.

He let out a whoop of laughter, the sound echoing through the empty apartment. He kicked his feet, he spun around. He picked up the first object he saw, a pillow, and tossed it in the air.
