He bounced on the balls of his feet as he watched the contractor arrive. A whoop escaped his lips before he could stop it. The neighbor, Mrs. Gable, was finally getting that fence installed! He'd been looking forward to this for weeks.

His shoulders visibly relaxed as the truck pulled up, its arrival marking the beginning of a new era. No more rogue soccer balls in his prize-winning petunias! No more accidental intrusions by the neighbor's boisterous children.

A grin plastered itself on his face as the crew unloaded the posts. He couldn't help but let out a little whistle of pure joy. His own garden would be even more perfect now, safe and sound.
