He’d almost forgotten, but the reminder, a simple text message, sent a jolt of energy through him. He tapped his foot, a restless energy building inside. The anticipation was almost unbearable. He could not wait. This reunion with Olivia was long overdue.

The restaurant was beautifully lit, each table occupied by people, engaged in animated conversation. He saw her, a beacon in the crowd, and his steps quickened. He couldn't help the grin that spread across his face.

"Olivia! I'm so glad you're here!" He practically beamed as he took a seat.

Olivia smiled at him. “Mark! You look great. I’ve been trying to recall that night, but it’s like… a hazy dream. I don’t think I'll ever be able to remember that night. Do you remember anything from then? The flowers, the drive?”

He leaned forward, his eyes sparkling. “Flowers? The drive? Oh, yes! I recall the flowers, the way they smelled, the drive and the laughter. It was a perfect night, and I can still see everything as if it were yesterday.” He felt the memory flood back, filling him with an almost childlike glee.
