Gemotions

The pottery class was a mess of clay and laughter, but for him, it was perfect. He looked across the room, at the way the sunlight hit her hair. He'd been looking for a woman, and he felt like he’d found her. He couldn’t have imagined a world without her in it.

He saw her, standing by the door, and his pulse quickened. He started to walk toward her, excited to make plans for next weekend.

Before he could reach her, another man, covered in clay, enveloped her in a hug. It all became clear.
