Gemotions

The postman’s footsteps echoed on the hallway tiles. As I opened the door, a parcel sat at my feet, addressed to the previous owner. I picked it up, a chuckle escaping my lips as I considered the possibilities. A delicious tingle began to spread through me.

I carried it inside, a sense of anticipation bubbling in my chest. Carefully, I placed it on the kitchen counter. My hands moved quickly, the cardboard and tape giving way effortlessly.

It was a box of gourmet chocolates. Every flavor I could imagine. I let out a joyful cry. My stomach leaped. What a day!
