He stared at the package, a wide smile growing on his face. It was addressed to the woman who used to live here, Ms. Evelyn Reed. The box felt surprisingly heavy, and his curiosity was piqued. He felt a bubbly energy build in his chest.

He moved quickly, eager to discover what lay within. His hands fumbled with the tape, finally managing to rip the box open. The scent that wafted out was delicious.

Inside, nestled amongst tissue paper, were several jars of homemade preserves, jams, and jellies. His mouth watered, and he let out a joyful chuckle. He immediately grabbed a spoon.
