The sun streamed through the windows of the gym, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Coach Johnson felt a surge of energy as he walked to the center of the room. This was the moment he had been waiting for, the culmination of a tough selection process.

"Alright, everyone, let's get this over with," he said, his voice surprisingly chipper. He read the names, each one bringing him a sense of satisfaction.
